LG oven error codes
LG ovens display an F-code when a sensor or the electronics detect a problem. Find your code below for the meaning and safe checks.
| Code | Meaning | Severity | First action |
|---|---|---|---|
| F11 | Probe / sensor error | Engineer usually needed | The oven temperature probe is open or shorted, so heating is blocked until the fault clears. |
| F19 | Control board / EEPROM fault | Often fixable at home | The control board has an internal memory or electronics fault — usually after a power surge. |
| F21 | Door lock error | Often fixable at home | The door lock did not engage when a program was started, so the oven will not begin. |
Safety first
Unplug before any check. Never open panels beyond the filter flap. Anything involving internal wiring, the heater or gas must go to a professional — see each code page for its "call a professional when" line.
