What that error code means — and what you can safely check

Beko oven error codes

Beko ovens show an F or Er code on the display when a sensor, the door or the electronics have a problem. Find your code below for the meaning and safe checks.

Beko oven error codes
CodeMeaningSeverityFirst action
F02Oven temperature sensor faultEngineer usually neededThe cavity sensor is out of range, so heating is stopped until the fault clears.
F04Control board / communication faultOften fixable at homeThe display and control board have lost communication or the board self-reports a fault.
Er4Cooker hood / ambient sensor errorOften fixable at homeOn models with a hood or ambient sensor, the sensor is out of range — often wiring or sensor failure.

Safety first

Unplug before any check. Never open panels beyond the filter flap. Anything involving internal wiring, the heater or gas must go to a professional — see each code page for its "call a professional when" line.
